Pakistan participated in Beauty Expo Australia for the second time with four companies that were sponsored by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). Exhibiting companies from Pakistan made their way at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney from 26-27 August.

Pakistani companies participating in this exhibition specialised in beauty and health care products which included scissors (of various types), razors, tweezers, nail polish cleaners, nail art tweezers, pedicure cutters, blackhead removers, manicure & pedicure kits, pharma care, beauty care, health care and etc.

Pakistani products offer business opportunities to all Australians willing to market these products online or to find potential Australian buyers. Most of the companies offered products that could also be customised according to the needs of the buyer to suit the local market. The Consulate General of Pakistan in Sydney coordinated and facilitated the visit of the business delegation from Pakistan and connected them with Australian companies, buyers and wholesalers.

During the visist, Professionals & Businesses Syndicate Australia, hosted a dinner and gave a presentation on the Australian Market and on the relevant products of the Pakistani exhibitors. Trade Mission Sydney also made suggestions as to how to approach Australian buyers.

On the last day of the two-day exhibition, 27 August 2017, Trade Mission Sydney hosted a dinner in the honour of the visiting Exhibitors of Beauty Expo Australia in which Australian guests were invited for networking purposes and some companies also held B2B meetings with their potential business partners. A local doctor was also present to brief the Pakistani companies about the types of surgical and dental products coming into Australia and how they differ from the ones Pakistan is currently making. He also offered samples to the Pakistani companies so that they can improve the quality of their products and design them according to Australian standards and demand.
